Introducing the first steer-by-wire applications for heavy load vehicles MOBIL ELEKTRONIK has taken a pioneering role in system technology for mobile automation already in 1973.
Very soon it became clear that a safe and reliable system is more than the sum of particular components. In succession the core competences safety technology and system engineering were extended continuously.
This development led to countless innovative and ground-breaking solutions and we are proud to have defined decisive content to terms like steer-by-wire und control-by-wire.

What started as a small engineering office has developed into an international acting partner with about 90 highly motivated employees, whose complete systems today can be found in all ranges of commercial and special vehicles.
